Members have multiple opportunities to participate as volunteers and leaders in the organization. Future efforts will focus on outreach to Executive Management as well as colleges & universities and other similar organizations in our area. The Chapter will also become more involved in the community via programs such as Habitat for Humanity and providing college scholarships for students in courses of study that include project management.
The Chapter offers monthly programs addressing some aspect of Project Manage¬ment to its members. The program format usually includes a speaker and a presentation regarding some aspect of Project Management. On occasion, other formats are utilized, such as round-tables or panel discussions. Programs are offered in varying locations and times to best meet the needs of the Chapter's diverse membership. PMI Professional Development Units (PDUs) are awarded to all PMPs who attend PMI-B programs, for use in the recertification process.
